Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineers to support out client with an upcoming UK Wide project. Our client are embarking on a M365/Intune rollout for it's users, and require these engineers to attend sites but for only 1 day a week (Mondays) to help provide users attending the site with support following the collection of their new devices. A Runbook will be provided to the users in advance, and the Devices will be prebuilt and issued to each site, for each user to come and collect on Monday.

The day will commence with a group session of users organized by the customer, beginning with an engineer-led presentation and whiteboard session on installing applications. Subsequently, users will be given the opportunity to independently carry out these tasks. Throughout the day, you will be available for any individuals needing additional hand-holding with troubleshooting or support with their new device. The project is scheduled to commence in July 2024 and conclude by the end of the year. To be successful for this role you will need to have Security Clearance.

The Person:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Happy to lead workshop sessions.
  • Previous, demonstrable experience in a desktop support role, supporting users face to face with device issues.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at various locations.
