My client is looking for Network Support Engineers for an initial 6-month contract for a long term Network Refresh Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong support experience for network infrastructure
- Perform fault finding and advanced troubleshooting to resolve network issues promptly
- Handle tickets efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of network-related issues
- Monitor network performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
- Diagnose network problems and implement effective solutions to optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth network operations
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in network support, fault finding, and advanced troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of Cisco Routing and Switching technologies
- Experience with Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Cisco DNA Centre (preferred but not mandatory)
- Excellent ticket-handling skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and techniques
- Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus
