Reporting to the EVP Digital Sales, will be responsible for delivering the go-to-market strategy and facilitate the sales efforts for all Meredith Digital Innovation including: (i).supporting digital and corporate teams in their efforts to sell strategic Innovation and data-led advertising solutions to clients (); (iii) developing client and/or category specific innovation strategies to enable sales teams to engage in enterprise level Innovation and insights and data driven partnerships; (iv) cultivating relationships with major US advertisers and the agencies to evangelize the Meredith story and understand client needs to better position our innovation and data assets; (v) training other digital sellers and internal stakeholders as to Meredith Digital's data driven innovation ad product suite and capabilities; (vi) accompanying other sellers on sales calls as a subject matter expert; (vii) Collaborating and leading, with Ad Product and Data team members on all data led innovative ad products; and (viii) driving top-line direct revenue growth.

The role will combine consulting, sales skills and market positioning acumen with an understanding of the technical, execution-oriented, and market-driven considerations of product innovation and data driven media solutions.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead and support innovation and data driven direct sales efforts, working with a cross-functional team of company stakeholders (Account Management, Sales, Data Team, Ad Operations, Marketing, Revenue Operations, etc.) to drive overall ad revenue growth for Meredith Digital.

Manage and scale Meredith Digital's data innovation driven sales efforts, supporting the data
solutions to clients, agencies
Leverage a highly consultative approach designed to ensure that clients and agencies receive strategic consulting for innovation and data services to support business needs.
Partner with sales to further develop strategic relationships at clients and agencies
Support the development and extension of new innovation and data driven ad products and or capabilities beyond current suite

Innovation Team and Data Solution Team Support

Supplement these team's collaboration with stakeholders across the company to develop and build innovation and data driven partnership strategies and opportunities that drive business relationship beyond the standard transactional media.
Provide innovation and data strategy and support for ongoing established partnerships assigned. Serve as key subject matter expert within Meredith
Serve as an expert on key areas of advertisers needs, new technologies and best practices impacting data-led innovations, and proactively communicate them with business, engineering and executive teams
Continuous training of assigned internal sales teams and other stakeholders in collaboration with team members
Continue to serve on data use and privacy committee as business-side member

Requirements:

BS/BA Degree, with advanced quantitative or business degree preferred
10+ years of data-enriched inventory buying or selling experience, and branded media/ad network sales experience plus shopper marketing and data driven digital retail experience
Deep understanding of data-driven innovation of media products and services across a diverse range of business verticals Strong understanding of sales of consultative media and innovation products and models
Ability to consume and process large amounts of data and utilize it to optimize sales and
innovation
Strong organizational, leadership, team building and knowledge transfer skills
Superior communication skills
Desire to build relationships and encourage teamwork Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
A strong business and technical understanding of the salient trends, issues, and tradeoffs related to data, technology, and advertising
Strong presence in interactions with senior executives
Strong presentation skills
